Q: Does someone need to remain at home while the painting is being done?
A: No. The choice to stay or leave is entirely up to you. Many people make arrangements to give us a key and are not in the home. If you'd like to stay and watch the progress, you are more than welcome to.
Q: What do I need to do to be ready for the painters?
A: We ask that you do a few things to prepare. Take down pictures and other decorations from walls. If you will be rehanging them, the hardware (nails, screws, picture hangers etc) can remain in the wall. All furniture will need to pulled away from the walls to allow a 3-4 feet clear perimeter access. Mark drywall flaws by tagging them with post it notes or other non damaging stickies. We will also inspect the drywall but this helps us make sure to address any areas of concern that you have identified.
Q: How are non-painted areas protected during painting?
A: For spraying, all areas and belongings are covered and protected. For brush/roll applications, droppers are used to protect the floor and other items in close proximity.
Q: What type of paint do you use?
A: Our preference is Sherwin Williams Cashmere Low Luster. Products chosen by us are high quality and premium grade only. Client requests are honored if you have a specific product in mind.
Q: What about pets?
A: Pets can remain in the home, however, for their own protection, we recommend they be isolated to area in the home that is not being painted. Feel free to discuss any concerns or specific needs with Josh.
Q: Can you match a color I currently have?
A: Absolutely! We can match just about anything. If you are matching a personal item (ie, bedspread, couch pillow, curtain, etc), we request that you take it to Sherwin Williams for a visual color match. If you have a color example (paint swatch, paint can, medium size paint chip etc), just give it to us and we'll take care of the match.
Q: When is payment due?
A: In most cases, we collect the day of completion unless prior arrangements have been made
